Vegas Robaina
Vegas Robaina cigars were introduced in 1997 as a tribute to Cuba’s tobacco farming tradition and to Don Alejandro Robaina, one of the most respected tobacco growers in Havana history.
Since 1845 the Robaina family has farmed tobacco continuously on its precious vegas (fields) at Cuchillas de Barbacoa situated in the San Luis district of the Vuelta Abajo tobacco zone.
Don Alejandro Robaina’s reputation for producing exceptional wrapper leaves made him a legendary figure among Havana tobacco growers.
The Vegas Robaina brand honours not only Don Alejandro Robaina but also the many anonymous farmers whose skill and knowledge have shaped Havana cigars over generations.
All five of the medium to full flavoured Vegas Robaina vitolas are Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally hand made.
